Hello everyone,

We had been using a 2.8" OLED panel in one of our products. Now that panel has
been discontinued and of course we didn't get the notice until a couple weeks
after the deadline for the last order. So now I'm looking for a suitable
TFT-LCD replacement and thought I'd ask here. This is what we require:

240x320 resolution (portrait mode)
touch screen
sunlight readable
~2.8" diagonal

Now the last requirement is the big issue. Our previous panel had an integrated
controller with an SPI interface so that I could write to it's internal RAM.
This saved me dealing with LCD interfaces, framebuffers, external RAM chips,
etc. I was able to manage the gui and other functional code quite nicely with a
LPC2368. I would like any the new panel to have a similar interface, though
since I need to redesign the PCB anyhow I could go to a parallel interface. The
other option if I cannot find a suitable display is to go to a device like the
LPC2478 and use the LCD interface, though that will bring up some issues with
the PCB.

I have done some research and found a few products that may be suitable but I'm
sure there are more out there. If you know of some, please send me a link.
Thanks.

This is just an aside, but you wouldn't happen to have the model number for the one that was discontinued, would you? I'm using a 2.8" OLED in a design (the one that vision opto sells), and would be very interested to hear if it's no longer being manufactured!

If you don't mind me asking, where do you source that Vision Opto OLED? Their 2.0" part looks tasty...
