hello

is there a list of small solar cells. I am looking for a 2V solar cell of about 1cmx2cm or 4V at 2cmx2cm but I am unable to find anything in this range. The current is not a limit, about 3-4mA will be great. Any ideas?

looks like even the smallest one is way overkill for what you want.

I guess those tiny suggested cells have too little current for your application? It should be feasible to get 3-4mA from cells the size you mention, or even smaller.

yes i actually got the solar bits from ixys and they are quite nice but just slightly too big for my application. to get 4 volts out of it i need to connect three of these which makes is abot 3cmx3cm

What about the XOB17-01x8, which is specified as having an open-circuit voltage of 4.9V? It think is reasonable to expect almost 4V in "real world" conditions, unless you're using them indoors or something.
