PCEEG at sourceforge a/d converter PSOC or discreets?

http://pceeg.sourceforge.net/

Hi I am making a EEG using the chips mentioned on my website but I wonder weather the A/D converter in the PSoC is a good choice and would be sensitive enough wihout major input and system noize? Linear has no pdip a/d and analog is expensive for a/d. it makes me wonder if the PSoC or a atmel would be the best choice. Whats the input range of atmel?

This is a useful article : http://www.siliconchip.com.au/cms/A_103787/article.html

They use a crappy old Pic, and then an external ladder DAC into a comparator to measure the incoming voltage, which is a bit clunky & crap, but the rest of the article relating to signal conditioning is useful.
