How to build OLED capacitive multitouch at home?

I want to build a device using a capacitive OLED screen with multitouch technology.

Is this currently possible on an at-home, prototype basis?

The Atmel maXTouch product line looks promising but hasn't fully hit the market yet (not stocked at Digikey + Mouser) and who knows if they'll have min quantity of 1.

Suggestions?

Well the hard part is to find datasheets/detailed specs of parts like this because they're not available to the general public, else we could salvage them from existing devices.

So are you saying that these parts don't exist for general, public consumption? ie From Digikey, mouser, or similar.

No as far as i know. I guess you'll have to wait for maxtouch :)
