Hello

I am wondering if anyone knows about plastic pieces that can panel mount to allow access to one of the typical demo-board style square momentary pushbuttons. I can't really mount the board close enough to the top of the enclosure to access the button without some kind of panel-mounted mechanical linkage. Something that is sealed somewhat would be great too.

I also realize I can replace the button - but I don't want to do that if there is another solution.

thanks
Ben

Google "switch caps" or go to DigiKey and search for pushbuttons or pushbutton caps. There are caps you can glue to flat top buttons, but best is if you use a pushbutton that's designed to have a cap attached to it. They usually have a + shaped extrusion protruding upward and the cap has a female + indentation to fit.

Or you can get small diameter plastic rod and cut it to the size you want.
