I am just posting this in case any is interested. I converted regular Nintendo controllers into USB controllers for use with an emulator. I am working on also converting the zapper as we speak. Both designs use the relatively new USB PIC's.

I'm really interested in this as I was planning to create my own USB arcade stick, and I don't have any clue on how to do driver programming. I'll have a detailed look to the link.
