Reprogramming SMIRFv2

Hi everyone

I wanto to know if someone has tried to reprogram the smirf units v2??

I got the new firmware but when I connect to my PG1 pic programmer always the programmer flash the first 24 bytes or sometimes 23.

The curious thing is when I put another pic16f688 just with the icsp cable, the winpic can program it 100%.

Please. if someone know how to resolve the probelm. email me o write for the solution. I think maybe another peripheric is interfiering with the programming.

It's most likely an issue with the PG1 having to power the supporting hardware on the SMiRF. The serial port will only source so much current, and it's really not that much. You'll probably need an MCP to do it right.
