Hi,
the old BlueSmirfs I used to buy came with a device name of SparkFun-BT or BlueRadio. I could just plug these units into my circuit and they would work. (used to control them using hyperterminal through a bluetooth dongle).
Anyway of late the bluesmirfs I've been receiving come with the device name FireFly. and these just don't respond.
They get discovered, and I can even connect to them (the light even turns red)
but it won't respond to either +++ or $$$ command
I've tried changing the baud rate from 9600 to 115k -doesn't work
I tried using the default "1234" passkey and even removing the security setting all together -doesn't work
any idea what the problem could be.
I really wish spark fun would provide proper documention when they change a part.
