Voltage Bluesmirf 9v?#40111

Hello all world!

I want to aliment the bluesmirf http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/produc ... =currency#
with 9v but on the website there are writen : Operating Voltage: 3.3V-6V.

Can I aliment my bluesmirf with 9v ?

No,

If you want to use a 9v source you'll need to use a 5v regulator

Otherwise you'll let the smoke out of the module
