Hi,
I'm waiting for a pari of UM12 radio modems and would appreciate some advice on geting the longest possible range.
I assume yagis on both modems would be optimal(?), but I will be able to use a directional antenna on one end only. Anything I should be aware of when connecting a yagi to the UM12 other than making sure it's for 433MHz/50ohm?
Would something like a 3/4 wave wire antenna be an improvment over the included 1/4" antenna? Is there any other type of omnidirectinal antenna that would be an improvment?
