Just noticed the new RFID reader chip (RFID Reader ID-12) offered by SFE, which might be perfect for a small project I'm working on. A few questions I have for anyone who has experimented with this module:

Can you describe the behavior of the module when more than 1 tag is present in the field? Will they all be reported correctly?

Also, if a tag remains the field, will I get multiple reports for that tag until it is removed? If yes, what is the interval between reports?

Dunno about multiple tag behavior, but its highly likely that it will report none at all when two are in range.

I haven't seen multiple reports while the tag was in the field for 2-4 seconds.

As far as I can tell, its a report per detection.
