All things pertaining to wireless and RF links

Hi,

Bluetooth v2.0 DIP module links datasheet WML-C40 which says the item has maximum transmission rate 2,178 kbps. It looks like BlueSMiRF uses the same WML-C40 but the datasheet of BlueSMiRF says the rate of device is between 9.6 and 115.2 kbps.

If BlueSMiRF is based on WML-C40, is it possible to get more bandwidth from this device? And if yes, would it be possible to use RFCOMM with high rate between BlueSMiRF and Bluetooth v2.0 + EDR mobile phone like SE K750 or W810?
