I am trying to identify a couple of SMD 2.4 gig amp chips. They are six lead SOT type packages, one is marked 286E, the other is 308E. There are no manufacturer markings. One is a receive amp, the other transmit. They operate at 3 VDC. Any help out there?
Thanks,
Ron

They're probably a Hittite HMC286E and a Hittite HMC308. Hooray for Google. :D

(I found them by knowing that small RF devices are often called MMICs, for monolithic microwave integrated circuit.)

I'm impressed! I put in every search term but mmic. That's it. Good job!
