How to make simple wireless switch?

Post by jrowell » Wed Jun 14, 2017 11:52 pm

I would like to make a wireless switch to control a water pump. There would be a transmitter connected to a float switch in the water tank, and a receiver to control a well pump a few hundred feet/meters away. I have seen solutions such as but they use a handheld fob transmitter and the range is too short. Where can I find a transmitter that is on a circuit board instead of a handheld fob? Thanks!

When you say "few hundred feet/meters away" - which is it? Feet or meters? (they are actually quite different)

This place has stuff in the 150 - 200 m range:
And they have devices on circuit boards - just browse the site a bit. ... =4-Channel 433MHz Wireless RF Remote Control (Transmitter + Receiver)
