Hi,
Are libraries written for the Arduino Wifi shield compatible with the Sparkfun CC3000 Wifi shield?
I want to use the MudbusWifi library. In the remarks of their .h file is written that it is for use with the Arduino Wifi shield.
Please help.

research what's be written about the CC3000 WiFi module from T.I.
You'll likely choose a different vendor's module.

Stevech, can you be a bit more specific in what is wrong with it in your opinion? Over the years I remember a bunch of threads popping up here of people having problems communicating with it. But ignored it mostly since it didn't apply to me. Or are there other reasons?

never-fixed serious bugs in firmware, and pigeon-English documentation.
The CC3200 too.
The CC3300 is presumed better but most users said goodbye before then.
