Hi everyone,

Currently I am using 2 sets of arduino with xbee s2 pro, but i am having a hard time to finding that xbee. when I was doing the xbee setting, XCTU couldn't discovered xbee. I tried both "add radio module" and "discover radio module" functions. it could identify the port with arduino, but just couldn't find the xbee which attached on it.

Pls help me!
Thanks in advance,
Reagards!

I'm having the same trouble with my XBEE S1 using the sparkfun xbee shield.

I keep getting the same results "ACTION NEEDED, RESET YOUR MODULE" and as i press the reset button on the Sparkfun Xbee Shield i keep getting nothing else.

In the shield two leds are on, RED (PWR) and the Green (DIO5) keep blinking.

Anyone can help ?

This is a late reply,
I have experience with the Series1 and series3 xbees.
I believe I get the (Action Needed Reset your module) message when there is a serial parameter missmatch.

In both cases, the Baud, pairity, and other params of the serial connection have to match.
In the manuals for either the S1 or S3 I remember it seeing the exact settings for a uart connection.

Regardless, For the series1, these are supposed to work right out the box, IE XCTU's default settings of 9600 baud, parity, etc should work.
