Hello everyone,
I'm new to the forum and sparkun electronics
. I've been playing around with arduino now I am looking to get a bluetooth module for.
I've been asking around and some people advice me the Bluetooth Mate Silver and others the ebay chinese version of a bluetooth module called hc-05 or newer ones hc-10. What is the difference betwen the sparkfun bluetooth modules and those from china/ebay except the fact sparkfun cost's like 24,95 usd and the ebay version cost's ony 6/7 usd :think:
I would be really happy if anyone could explain what the real difference is instead of just saying "the quality". Is it the range? is the the antenna? is it stable connection? baudrates? fancy sparkfun name printed on it ?
Reason I am asking this is because I am plannning to implement this into a device of which 10/20/100 units might sell and if I can save almost 20 usd per machine it can save me up to 2000usd on 100 units unless ther is a valid reason to go with the sparkfun module.
