Hello,
I stupidly set my BlueSmirf HID parity to even, and now I can't seem to enter CMD mode. Any ideas?

I tried shorting the GPIO pin 4 as instructed elsewhere (toggled 3 times) but I'm pretty sure that function doesn't work with this model.

Anyone know how I can get back into command mode using Even parity? I'm pretty new at all this and am hoping there is a setting in Zterm or Arduino serial communication that I can use.

If the consensus is that I've bricked it, I'll just buy a new one, but thought I'd check here first. Thanks!

Hello,

Here's a YouTube video for resetting the BlueSMiRF with Arduino. [http://youtu.be/8gZNF3bFpzI] Both the BlueSMiRF Silver in the demo and the BlueSMiRF HID use the RN-42 chip, just with different firmware, so the reset process should be the same. If that does not work, you might contact Microchip Support [http://www.microchip.com/support/hottopics.aspx] to see if they have any recommendations.
