All things pertaining to wireless and RF links

Hi,

I'm wanting to make a speaker wireless from the driver but have never done anything like this before, and so was hoping someone could help advise.
I have a bluetooth speaker that I need to split the pcb at the speaker terminals (+-).The speaker has a spec. of 4Ohms and 2W.

If I bought and connected the sparkfun transmitter and receiver (RF Link Receiver - 4800bps (315MHz) and RF Link Transmitter - 315MHz) in line with where the speaker terminals are, would they transmit the original signal to the speakers? i.e is the speaker signal a transmittable data signal.

Thanks for reading and your help.

Wait, you said its a bluetooth speaker, then isn't it already wireless?

The transmitters and receivers you are talking about send digital data, data going to your speaker is analog, that won't work directly. You would need to encode your signal into a digital one, and then decode it and turn it into an analog signal on the other side.
