EDIT - I posted the following earlier after discovering the discrepancy. I admit that Spark Fun was very quick to fix the webpage. I was afraid they would not when I posted the original. Way to go Spark Fun!

PS - the modems seem to work very well with an honest half mile range at ground level.

The data sheet and website list it as such, but the module is labeled as 5V. The manufacturer does offer a 7.2V config, but the one's that Spark Fun carry are not.

They get hot so fast that they pretty much shut down at 7.2v. I called and made them aware that the website was wrong as is the supplied datasheet.

Unfortunetly they seem to be of the opinion that they say 5v on the module so there should be no problem.

Maxstream here I come.......
