Hi,

I applied +5 and Gnd to my BlueSMiRF and connected the CTS to RTS.

I'm using a Dell laptop with builtin bluetooth, and I'm running XP Pro with SP2 applied.

I can see the BlueRadios device, but Windows tells me there are no services available.

If I try to Quick Connect using Bluetooth Serial Port, then I get the error, Service Bluetooth Serial Port is not found on device BlueRadios.

If I try to connect using my Dell Axim v50, then I can see the COM0 service.

Does anybody know how to setup Windows XP to connect to the BlueSMiRF?

I discovered that if I clicked on "Update Driver..." for the Bluetooth driver (replacing the WIDCOMM driver with the Microsoft one) then everything started to work fine.
