Hey guys, I'm about as new to GPS as I was the day I was born, but I'm using the UV40 module and eval board for a school design project.
My problem is pretty simple, I can't connect the antenna to the GPS engine board. I've got the mating cable, but it looks to me like the connector on the board and the connector on the end of the mating cable are both male. I figured maybe I was just sent the wrong cable when I ordered from Laipac, so I ordered another mating cable from Sparkfun and I'm having the same problem.
Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated, and maybe I've just managed to get the wrong cable twice, but figured I'd post here in case I was missing something obvious.
I made up a diagram of what I'm seeing, since I'm not sure how well the connection locations I'm talking about are conveyed in text.
