I would like to generate DTMF during a voice call. I do the following after making a call:

ATD4

ERROR


Is there another command to send DTMF? I cannot seem to find it in the manual.

Dunno about this particular command set, but the usual Hayes-type command is "ATDT4" (for ATtention, Dial, Tone-dial — ATDP4 would do Pulse dialing on an actual POTS-line modem). Unless you made a typo in your post you're missing the second "T".

I also emailed telit about this, and I got a response on a command not mentioned in the document. Not sure if its from a later firmware release, or if there are other loads of undocumented commands in this device.

AT+VTS=<DTMF>

DTMF can be 0-9, #, *, A-D
