Can I use a XBee module to transmit image from a regular webcam to a nearby pc? Range should be app. 100m or larger

yes, if...
you know how to get the video digitized and compressed
you use 1CIF frame size (reduce data rate)
the 100Kbps or so net yield rate is good enough

so, it depends.

Generally, if you want motion video, then no, 802.15.4 is too slow.
