Hi, i'm new and i'd like suggestions for buying a bluetooth module. I'm making a project which consist in sending messages via bluetooth from a cell phone to a microcontrolled (by a pic) hardware. Thanks.

It's too hard, due to the BT stack complexity.
Unless you purchase a stack or a BT to serial bridge device.

It's pretty easy to do with something like the BlueSMiRF, as long as your phone supports JSR-082 or similar. (I've done it with an older version of the BlueSMiRF, I haven't used the latest variations which ae based on a different chipset, but I imagine it's similar)
