I have successfully gotten the nrf2401a to work with shockburst with an air speed of 1mbit / sec. To improve reliability and range of my device, I choose to reduce the bitrate to 250k.

Oddly, when the configuration is set to 250k things stop working. When bit 13 of the configuration word (RF Data Rate) is set to logic 1 for 1mbit I get a reliable connection. At logic 0, the pair doesn't send/receive data.

I had assumed that 250k would work without trouble if I got 1mbit working first.

Has anyone run into this? Are there any thoughts on why this may be.

Is there something other than that bit that must be flipped?

Flipping back to receive after transmit too soon?

Did you adjust your Toa calculation?
