We have our WRL-08461 connected to a PIC, sending 9 bytes every millisecond. Baudrate set to 230400. After about a second of sending data, the bluetooth seems to be dropping bytes (i.e. not sending everything sent to it by the PIC).

I've tested with a direct RS-232 to the PIC, and everything is fine. We *used* to use the BlueRadios-based bluetooth that SparkFun sold, and that worked fine. But since moving to the WRL-08461 (because SparkFun isn't selling the BlueRadios device anymore), we can't get reliable data transfer.

I'm using the DTR mode, instead of the command character mode, to make sure that the bytes being sent aren't accidentally messing something up.

Anyone have any thoughts? We ordered four samples, and it's happening with all of them, so maybe it's just a configuration thing?

Thanks,
Jay P.
