I am trying to send data at 1000 baud rate aka 1Khz clock frequency. But most of the time duty cycles are not same at the RX side. Somes times i miss data if someone comes between line of sight between 2 devices. I am trying to send the temperature sensor data from 1 fpga to another fgpa through RF. Speed is not concern in my case but I should get perfect data on receiver.

Using 5.15 V at the TX and RX pair with same ground as suggested in one thread and both are more then 5 ft away as said in another thread also.

Quick questions:

1. If i want to measure the noise at receiver side on which point i can see it? Is it on the antenna pin?
2. Do we really need antenna for 20 ft transmission?
3. What is the best sequence for synchronizing the TX and RX pair.
4. At 2400 baud rate i cant see anything in RX.
5. What should be the best start and stop bits for testing purpose because if it works i will try to implement manchester encdoing and decoding.

Thanks. !
