I am working on a home automation system controlling my blinds with an arduino usb board. I need to get a bluetooth board from spark fun because I would like to control the project from my blackberry curve which I found out support serial port profile.
Whats the difference between Bluetooth Modem - BlueSMiRF Gold and Bluetooth Modem - BlueSMiRF RP-SMA and Bluetooth Modem - BlueSMiRF Silver.
I was thinking of making a webpage that I open with my blackberry curve that has buttons on it to control the blinds, when a button is clicked it sends a single to the (one of the above) bluetooth modules which is connected to my arduino board.
If anyone knows another or better way of doing this let me know. Thanks!
