I'm building a tester for a piece of equipment that uses a Free2Move 2M03MLA Bluetooth module.

I would like to detect that the module is working. I'm not sure I actually need to connect to it, maybe I can just discover it?

What would be the easiest way to do this, and what Sparkfun module would do the job?

It should connect to a PIC micro.
