I just recently acquired a couple of WRL-13678 (ESP8266 Modules) and can't seem to get them to work.
I've hooked up via PuTTY and can see the device echo any chars that I type, but AT or AT+RST give no response. If I reset the unit (either repower or use RESET pin) I see several lines of garbage (as if the baudrate were incorrect) and a spiffy Welcome msg from "Ai-Thinker Technology Co. Ltd." but absolutely nothing else. I'm powering it from a 3.3V bench supply that can supply 10Amps. Both units 'work' the same.
Am I missing something? I found some the tutorials in the docs, but they also give no useful feedback.
Any help would be appreciated.
