Android JTAG HW breakpoints

Hi,
Without going into too much details my basic aim is to run Android and set hardware watchpoints on a native applications. My current setup involves a Flyswatter 2 with Pandboard es but I've had nothing but problems with this so I'm hoping someone can recommend another setup that will work without issue?
