I recently got the Ultimate IMU but I'm unable to see it as an USB mass storage when connected to a PC. I loaded the latest code from Ryan Owens and everything else works but the USB Mass Storage. Any idea? Is anybody with an uIMU able to see it as a USB mass storage?

Hey Ferarri

I've compiled Ryan Owens's lastest firmware and I can confirm that there are no problems with the mass storage bootloader on Ubuntu 10.10. In fact, I don't think that the firmware has anything to do with the bootloader. When the device restarts, the bootloader checks to see if there is FW.SFE on the SD card and, if so, it reflashes the microprocessor and boots into the new code. Irrespective of what you put in FW.SFE, the bootloader should stay in tact. The Ultimate IMU comes with the bootloader code already installed. To change or remove the bootloader (not recommended) you'll need some additional hardware, like an LPC programmer. I therefore believe that there is something wrong with your SD card, USB cable or host PC.
