Re: Need help with controller idea!

First you need to do some research. You need to know how to communicate with the PC and the game. I am sure that a Google search will pull up some useful links in this area. Right now, this is your biggest hurdle. Once you get an idea of that, then you can research what platforms will be compatible....

Re: Designing a new arduino comparable for radio

Well, really it's all up to you in what you want and what you are going to use now and in the future. If any part of you thinks you may want to expand your project, then you should think about regulation, USB, I/O, and compatibility with other boards. If you need help in layout, you can post your im...

Re: Modules from DIYmodules

That library is to place modules (boards) directly onto your PCB. If you want to layout your board with just components, then you need to design the schematic and layout the board.

Re: SBC design

I agree with Bill, if you have the experience to start designing Intel and AMD boards, then you should already know where to get the packages. Even if you do find them, they are most likely BGA packages which require fine traces that most, if not all, hobbyist level manufacturers won't do. Once you ...

Re: Which is best 3D Printer Kit for Arduino??

RepRap has the best hobbyist following. That is where I would look first. Other then that, get the most items in a kit for the price. If you can find a kit that has everything, go for it. I personally have a Makerbot Replicator 1 that I got off Ebay for dirt cheap ($1200). I love it. It's lasted 5 y...

Re: 3-axis camera slider with focus pull and linear motion.

The issue I see right now is the number of connections you MAY need versus the Uno's connectors. Before you go off the deep end and start buying more expensive devices, start learning with what you have now. If you try to slap all this together at once, it will be doomed to fail and you will be down...

Re: Safety Sensor

Most systems that are similar use well calculated measurements concerning force and also employ bearings. Depending on your setup, it would be hard to implement any known configuration. So you might want to search around and/or design your own. On another note, it will be hard to have any one design...

Re: Parts procurement..

Same as you. For common parts, buy in bulk off Ebay. For the specific components, I buy Digikey but also buy a few extra for stock.

Re: LSM9DS1 arduino compile error

A few reasons why you are getting "not declared in this scope":
You didn't install the library.
You installed it in the wrong place.
Folder structure is wrong.

Re: servo motor to stop its rotation at angles greater than

To further Skimask's statement, Continuous rotation servos does not act like regular servos. When you specify an angle, it will continue to rotate at a given speed. So you would have to time the servo to stop when you want it to.
