it seems like the example "freezes" in one of the first lines actually it freezes in the WiFly.begin(); Please make sure you're using the alpha 2 release of the library. Then try the 'SpiUartTerminal' sketch and reply with the output from that sketch after you enter command mode and try a command l...

Does this thing not work with WEP with No authentication (open) (10 HEX number passkey) According to the User Manual it supports: Secure WiFi authentication WEP-128, WPA-PSK (TKIP), WPA2-PSK (AES). The current release of Wifly firmware supports these security modes: • WEP-128 (open mode only, NOT s...

Sorry, I'm not sure what would be causing that issue. Maybe you could check if the router has error logs that give you more information?

This post might be of use: a way to get the Arduino Uno into DFU mode without any soldering.

I will try it with the WerbServer and WebClient sketch. But I want to do over adhoc net. Does it work? Good question. The library doesn't yet have support for creating adhoc networks--you would need to modify the library to do that. I do not understand what do you mean with the TextFinder library. ...

Before i post what i believe will help, have you noticed that querying the baud rate after an instant baud rate change does not report the new baudrate ? This is not just immediately after but any time after. ie: "get uart" is returning 9600 even though i'm sure i'm at 115200 or even higher. Yeah, ...

Hi, Are you using the WiFly Shield code library alpha 2 release ? You could try running the WiFly_WebClient sketch on one device and WiFly_WebServer sketch on the other. It's a little bit of overkill but kinda straightforward. The LED will be on the device running the server. You'll probably want to...

Hi Matt.. A problem introduced now is that anytime i use a browser to request from the Wifly im having to request twice. Its not picking up the first request. Every single time i request i can see the RXTX light on the wifly light up but the "server.available();" doesn't seem to be seeing it. Hmm, o...

Does it do this consistently?

I've had issues with the OptiBoot bootloader where it will fall into that bootloader "blinking LED" cycle--but if I try applying power again or (I think--maybe not) hit reset it recovers.
