Wav Trigger Activation on voltage Input

by MrSanRamon ¦  Thu Dec 20, 2018 2:11 pm ¦  Forum: SparkFun Product Questions ¦  Topic: Wav Trigger Activation on voltage Input ¦  Replies: 0 ¦  Views: 113

I'm slowly working thru my questions.

My understanding is that you can activate the wav trigger by supplying a voltage between 3.4 & 5 volts.

I am unable to get that to work, either on DC or AC voltage.

I've tried it both inverted and non-inverted on that trigger

I need some advice.

I have the wav trigger set up, but have an issue. With only one trigger line hooked up, and no ground line, I get random activations. I am re-theming a pinball game and am using a wav trigger with only a few switch closure inputs, By setting those few switch closures as "random", I can get a lot of different sounds with only a few inputs. I want one track to play continually (with a switch closure) until the "stop" input is given ...

I am building a pinball game for my grand daughter buy re-themeing an older machine. This machine currently does not now play any audio, it is an early Bally Solid State machine that plays chimes. It plays these chimes by hitting xylophone style metal bars with solenoids. I would like to keep the ch...
