FemtoBuck Li-Po battery LED driving

Hej, I want to drive 34V 90mA, 180mA and 360mA COB LEDs with a FemtoBuck and a Li-Po battery and saw that the FemtoBuck needs 6V input minimum - a single cell 3.7V Li-Po battery won't be enough, so I need a 2S version with 7.4V for the input to be boosted to 34V. Will that work? Also, how could I re...

Re: Driving LEDs with Femto Buck and LiPo batteries

Ok, that's too bad. Maybe that's why there is no good portable LED luminaire out there yet, all of them being gimmicks with hardly any lumen output or an Ra above 90...

Re: Driving LEDs with Femto Buck and LiPo batteries

Alright, so the Femto Buck is out and I need to find a small Arduino-compatible step-up driver that will boost the 3,7V to 36V. Can't find anything like it at Sparkfun or Pimoroni, etc. What do you guys use to power high-quality LEDs from the major brands? They're always between 34V and 36V.

Driving LEDs with Femto Buck and LiPo batteries

I want to drive high-quality Citizen, Bridgelux or Lumileds LEDs. They require 34-36V forward voltage, depending on model. The SparkFun Femto Buck looks like it could work https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13716 but what step-up module would I need to use LiIon batteries, because these only deliver ...

Bump.

No products at Sparkfun for capacitive switching and/or dimming with PWM?

Capacitive switching and dimming of high power LEDs

Dear forum members, I have a series of luminaires that come with either a solid brass, steel or aluminium casing. They each house MEAN WELL LDD-x DC/DC PSUs like these ones here http://www.meanwell-bg.com/files/Models/LDD/LDD-L.pdf that drive the luminaire's LEDs. These PSUs can be dimmed via a PWM ...
