voltage regulator recommendations

 by perigalacticon ¦  Tue Sep 26, 2017 7:06 pm ¦  Forum: Projects ¦  Topic: voltage regulator recommendations ¦  Replies: 0 ¦  Views: 341

I'm looking for recommendations for voltage regulators for a battery powered device that needs a 5V and a 3.3V regulator. The 5V regulator requires 500mA absolute max (powering a .5W amplifier, 5 WS2812s, and an ATTINY MCU); the 3.3V requires 30mA absolute max (a flash memory chip). As it's battery ...

LED Matrix Driver

Hello, I am looking for a led matrix driver for arduino that will power a charlieplex matrix of 50 leds that require 40mA at 5V each. I have tried the IS31FL3731 but my leds are too dim, the current requirement is too high for it. Do you have a board that will meet my requirement or know where I can...

soldering a PCB for the first time questions

I am assembling PCBs for the first time. The components are thru-hole and there is a ground plane that many components are connected to. I had the PCBs made by standard processes at a well-known supplier. Should I be concerned when soldering the pads that do not connect to the ground plane? I am con...
