Laser driver

Hello everyone, I am working on a project that needs to have a laser driver. Actually a laser array, so total current is around 2A. I am using LD39300 for creating a voltage driver, since it can supply upto 3A current. What I am facing is the at full power, driver runs for 30-40 mins and then starts...

Re: Bluetooth silvermate

I did some extra test. Here is my results. If I follow this following link: http://arduinoandroid.blogspot.com/2011/11/post-number-2-work-version.html Using $$$ command does not do anything. If I try to send a signal via bluetooth, serial port read it as giberish. I am kind of lost here. Anyone has ...

Bluetooth silvermate

Hello, I bought bluetooth silver mate from sparkfun. I used the instructions from following link: https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/using-the-bluesmirf?_ga=1.128157772.1585294772.1400889417 Everything works fine when I use pro mini 5V (16 MHz), however if I use pro min 3.3V (8MHz), nothing works....

3.3Voltage regulator with low dropout

Hello, I have bought 3.3V regulator (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/526) from sparkfun. I am using a battery, it output is 3.7V; so output of voltage regulator becomes like 2.7V which is not good enough to run Arduino. In this case voltage dropout is 1V. I am just wondering if you know any soluti...

Time to excute command

Hello everyone, In one of my project, I am using interrupt and my microcontroller is Arduino Pro mini (5V, 16MHz) ATMega328. I am using both interrupts. Under each interrupt I am calling a function like following: detachInterrupt(0); A_SIG=1; B_SIG=digitalRead(PinB); // PinB is another interrupt pin...

Re: Small LCD

Thanks Mike for your quick reply. I believe it will be easy for me to go with LCD-00258. Using LCD-00258 to Arduino is very simple (just one pin) and it's library is also available.
I am wondering if I can know the connection between LCD-11122 and LCD-00258. Any link will be good. Thanks in advance.

Small LCD

Hello all; I bought one small lcd (i.e. LCD-11122). It needs 11 input/output pins for microcontroller interfacing. I am using Arduino pro mini which has 14 I/O pins. So, if I use this LCD, then I do not have enough pins to add more peripherals. I like the size of this LCD and pro-min for my project....

Just want to mention that one have to use AC power source for this purpose. DC power source, one must use driver.

Re: small stepper motor

@Valen and all, sorry if I made you upset about this question. I was looking for a quick solution where I have to use stepper motor but I do not need to count steps. I know dc motor is the best choice here. However, the required rpm is low for my application and do not want to use dc motor which can...

small stepper motor

Hello everyone,
I have bought small stepper motor (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/10551) from sparkfun. I will run this motor in one direction only and in a constant speed. Is there any way, I can run this motor without driver? This will reduce my product costs and complexity.

Re: Laser power controller

Lyndon, I do not think I can choose 3-10A output. I had to select first "Packaging", then voltage output, voltage input, then package case, finally supply device package (either D-PAK or PPAK). I am using digi-key.com here. Am I missing anything?
