Hi eddieparker, I have had a similar problem to this, when using a Tsunami wav player. This turned out to be a problem of lack of isolation between the power supply to the board and the amp.
Refer to the post

Update to solving noise problem. Forget the FET! I have now found the easiest and cheapest solution (1 pence/ nickel) to this problem. All you need to do is, as before: The Tsunami board has two ground planes, one for the digital side and one for the analogue side. The two ground planes are connecte...

I have made a midi musical instrument using an Arduino playing wav files on a Tsunami Wav Trigger, with this one plays a melody with a drones accompaniment (sounds like a bagpipe). So far the Tsunami SD card (Kingston 16GB class4) has 331wav files at 3.69 GB. The problem is that the selected looping...

So just to clarify, I am posting a picture of the Tsunami board and basic circuit of the power in and power to the board circuit. The Audio out is plugged into my mixer / amp with using the same supply that is powering the FET. It is the MOSFET providing the isolation of the negative supply to the T...

Hi all and Steve "amongstmyselves", To clarifiy my post above this solution to the noise problem is for powering a mixer or amplifier and the Tsunami board from the same power supply. I have solved this problem using a cheap Mosfet (IRF520) as a means to isolate the power supplys negative to the bo...

Hi all and Steve "amongstmyselves", I have solved this problem using a cheap Mosfet (IRF520) as a means to isolate the power supplys negative to the board from the audio out. This I achieved as follows. The Tsunami board has two ground planes, one for the digital side and one for the analogue side. ...

Hi Steve "amongstmyselves" It was with great joy that I came across this post today. I have been tearing my hair out with this problem of a whistle on my project. I have been making a midi Hurdy gurdy using a Arduino Uno and a Tsunami Wav Trigger ( here is a early prototype using Wav Triggers , no n...

I finaly get it!
Yes this works , many thanks for your help.

I can see how to set Release Time with WTConfig v2.00 ,
According to The Tsunami User Guide, the attack time can also be set with the ini file, but I see no Attack Time option.
How do I set the Attack Time (to ramp up over a specified time) with the ini file?

Hi I wish to put a set of eight different sound " looped voices" as backing tracks on each of the channels, each set numbered from say 1 to 8 The sound sets will of course be numbered for the appropriate midi channel i.e.: 01 to 08, 101 to 108 etc. If I program the Wav Triggers on boards trigger pin...
