How do I know if I have an Mk1 or Mk2 USB Host Shield?

by mprowe ¦  Tue Mar 27, 2018 11:19 am ¦  Forum: SparkFun Product Questions ¦  Topic: How do I know if I have an Mk1 or Mk2 USB Host Shield? ¦  Replies: 0 ¦  Views: 237

Hi,

How do I identify a DEV-09628 from a DEV-09947?
Both images on the web site "look" the same but as the differences are around the PCB tracks, would I notice?
The only ID I can possibly suggests on my board is the number etched on the underside - "5-23-10". A date?

Regards, Martin

Try to recompile, install and run... Maybe..... Hi Paul(?) WooHoo... That did it. I have no idea what it is that you have suggested but I have blindly done what you said, And (in general) it seems to have worked for me!! Thanks. May I prevail on your patience a bit longer and keep this thread going...

.... when you measure on the INT0 / pin 2 is that constant high or low ? If it is high, than an interrupt has been raised, but not cleared yet with reading the right register(s) and hence no new interrupt being raised. Maybe it needs a pull-down/pull-up resistor (e.g. 10K).. but maybe not.. INT0 / ...

Have you removed the REM's also before the line : //adxl.setImportantInterruptMapping(1, 1, 1, 1, 1);. This will set the interrupt output to line 1 Yes, I have done that. Otherwise try to make a read of all the registers (using the printAllRegister()) and share them. Especially the 0x2e (enable) an...

Hi, How can I generate a hardware interrupt from the SparkFun Triple Axis Accelerometer Breakout board. My starting point is the Spakrfun_ADXL345_example.ino which is included in the Arduino library for this product. This example implies that it demonstrates such a technique - the ADXL345 generates ...

RN52, GPIO2 and Streaming?

Hi Everyone, I have breadboarded my RN52 (v1.10) and all seems to be fine. However, I wonder if anyone can advise on the following: As the documentation says, GPIO2 falls for 100mSec to signal an event. My problem is that this signal triggers in sync with the start of A2DP streaming BUT almost 5 (FI...

Hi again, Still struggling with this "Squiggly analogue" stuff!! On a slightly different tack, I now know that my test amplifier has a TDA7429P chip. Which on investigation, I find is a D-Class digital amplifier. WooHoo... I thought. Back to "on's 'n off's" - I can cope with that! I thought that all...

Thanks J(?),

I'm away for a few weeks now, but when I'm back, I'll breadbord this and see what I get.

Once again, many thanks, Martin

If all you want is a logic indicator that there is audio coming from the BT amplifier, just rectify the speaker output. Yes, that is all I want to know - that there is audio from the amp... Let me just check my understanding of your suggestions? Are you saying that I can do away with the Sound Dete...

Ah.. the simplest is the best! Thank you.
What about R1? Should I cut the track to remove the the DC bias?

Hi, I would like to use the Sound Detector (SEN-12642) for an in-car project. However due to the high amounts of spurious audio noise, I would like to replace the electret microphone with a wholly electrical path. The input to the Sound Detector is to be one of the speaker outputs from a small Bluet...
