Re: Search tool

I tried manipulating my search criteria but the website's instructions are incorrect. Using the plus sign, +, does NOT guarantee the word is found in the results. I end up with a big "OR" rather than an AND. Also, the tool, "Search these results", (which should be fundamentally the same, logically)...

Re: Can't search for "Thing"!!!

I went to change this, and it requires a reindexing of the database. I need to check if there are any better solutions to the problem. :-/

Re: Sparkfun Website problems?

That's weird, I have the exact same setup (IE 8.0.6001 on Windows XP SP3), but it doesn't work for me. Maybe it has something to do with my settings?!?! Either that, or could it be you're behind some kind of special firewall that blocks the site because of outside content (like our embedded youtube...

Re: Sparkfun Website problems?

Do you still have this problem? I was unable to reproduce it myself in IE8, but I may have different settings/versions/whatever.

My test box ran IE 8.0.6001 on Windows XP SP3

We're looking into adding this mod - it'll probably happen one of these days. :)

Re: Forum link on top menu bar gone

This was indeed intentional. It actually never used to be under Resources, but it was decided that it belonged there instead.

Re: Arduino and Netduino Plus Enclosure

So we have decided to tentatively let projects like this through given that it adds value to the community, and it's on the condition that people don't spam-vertise their products (okay, I just made that word up). It's also okay to have a link to a personal homepage selling stuff in your profile/sig...

Re: RSS Feeds on Forum areas

Is it possible to install an RSS feed generator for the various sections of forum.sparkfun.com? It looks like phpBB3 has builtin feed functionality that just needs to be turned on. I think earlier versions might have it as a plugin instead. It would be really useful -- what would it take to enable ...

Re: Top sellers and Sales Rate category/filters wonky?

This is a known issue, but unfortunately, it's very far down on our priority list, and IT is swamped at the moment.
Since it's probably a quick fix, it might just happen one of these days when a developer needs a break from the main project he's working on.

Re: Code boxes and formatting

Any chance the code box code could be changed to allow formatting like bolding, italics and underlining to work within the box ? I was trying to point out where I had made some changes (to someones Arduino code) with said formatting but alas they don't function within the code tags. What happens is...

Re: Can't finish my order

Thanks for letting us know. We've finally been able to have a person work on BPCB actively the past few weeks, and I think he's doing a completely rewrite. My guess is that in this case he accidentally broke something when trying to fix the USPS International issue and didn't realize it. I'll let hi...

Re: Has BatchPCB shutdown?

I just tried a paypal order myself and it blew up with a 'oops train wreck' message as well. Resubmitted the order with Visa checkout and it worked fine. The PayPal issue should have been fixed now - sorry about that! As for the rest of the BPCB problems; it's undergoing pretty much a complete re-d...

Re: Where did my first question go?

Hi, you may know the answer already, but we currently have a moderation process that means the first post or topic you make has to be approved by a moderator or administrator, so it was simply sitting in the approval queue. The reason we do this is to detect and deter spammers from taking over this ...

Also, where did the "Notify me when more items are in stock" feature go? I rely heavily on this!
This (i.e. both your issues) has now been fixed. Thanks!
