We had looked into the Kingbrights a few years ago, but then they were really cost prohibitive (I think I remember a price of around $5 per unit). It looks like they've gone down in price and it might be worthwhile to talk to them again. As others have pointed out, we once sold alphanumeric displays...

Hi Guys, First I must apologize. Things are incredibly busy at SparkFun these days and being active in this forum has become incredibly difficult. Even before I said that, you're probably wondering who I am. I'm Pearce. My position at SparkFun Electronics is technical research. It's my job to handle...

It does look really cool, I'll definitely look into it.

While some companies are willing to work with us on stuff like this, others aren't. Most of the time, the quantities we're able to purchase don't differ that much from what the supplier would consider as an individual user.

Very cool, though.

We have some new Cellular options on the way, the Sparqee is not one of them, but there will be similar functionality.

It's definitely been in our communication channels for some time now. Pretty much all the ideas that you mention have been talked about and we'd like to pursue them sometime in the future.

I'll keep you updated if any of these make it onto the design schedule.

Hi All, We're still at the point Toni mentioned earlier. I'm hoping to find a good solution close to the end of summer. As many have pointed out, the lens is a big hangup. We actually sold a similar module a while ago, but had to end production as they stopped producing the lens. Hopefully we can ge...

We've definitely given this consideration. It's got a lot of issues that would need to be overcome, of which hitting a good price point would be the biggest.

Anyway, it's something we're looking into, I can't say if it'll happen or not at the moment, but it's being considered.

We have a breakout on the design schedule for one of the MS56XX sensors, we haven't decided on the exact model quite yet. Expect to see it late spring to summer.

We have some 4.0 stuff on the way. The BLE112 is not one of the items, as we felt it lacked functionality that would be necessary for most projects. The first parts should be hitting the storefront before the end of the year.

There's not much out there at the moment, as you said, the supply is quite noisy. I'll keep the idea in mind and post if I hunt something down.

I can confirm we have some options coming shortly. We're currently putting together hookup guides and documentation as it is a little tricky to work with. I would look for it to be available the second half of this month.

We have a Breakout on the way for this. it's in testing now which, as you can imagine, has been difficult. We should have it ready to go in the next few months.

Howdy All, Sorry for the wait on responding to this. We're currently revising the tutorial and will have the new version available soon (there will be a homepage post). I haven't seen anyone sketch load over Ethernet yet. The only ways I've seen it done are with the Arduino BT and using Xbee modules. The issues with those being that both have a max range under 60ft, the Xbee method in particular has a range of about 5ft before it starts getting upload errors. Pleas...
