Re: Sorting Variables

Only need to sort 3 variables from low to high, these will change each time through the program so I need to sort them each time. It will be in C.

Re: Flex sensor with Arduino-Help plz!!!

Correction... Considerations: 1. Deadband 2. Drift 3. Updating servo with new value Thoughts: 1. What we want to do is eliminate the electrical noise and minute muscle twitch. As the ADC will pick both of these up we must compensate in software. This is where our deadband comes in play. It allows us...

Re: PIC16F690 internal LP oscillator

Below is the block from the data sheet for the 16f690. The way I'm reading it makes it seem that there is an integrated crystal. Is this only a circuit to drive the external crystal without anyother hardware then??? 6.4 Timer1 Oscillator A low-power 32.768 kHz crystal oscillator is built-in between ...

PIC16F690 internal LP oscillator

Im trying to use the PIC16F690 internal LP 32.768 kHz oscillator. The datasheet says it has a built in oscillator, but when I enable it to clock Timer 1, Timer 1 does not increment. Just wanted to make sure that the crystal is in fact included in the chip. Anyone know if this is the case, or do you ...

Re: Flex sensor with Arduino-Help plz!!!

I've thought of trying a similar project and thought of the same problem. What is happening is as mentioned in a previous post... the ADC will be returning the minute differences with each reading... this is from minute muscle twitch and electrical noise. My suggestion is creating a "Dead Band" how ...

Re: printf with Variables or register values

Ok got it, the putch() function was written as putCh() so it was not being called. I am however getting a funky y in front of the string in quotes????

Re: printf with Variables or register values

Ok I was actually using a putch() function. In actuality I can't get the printf() function to work. The program compiles but I get no output to the hyperterminal. Any help, I'm using HI- TEC C 9.50 Compiler.

printf with Variables or register values

Im just starting out with the PIC16F690 Serial IO. Im able to print characters "printf('h')" for example. Im looking how to print variable or register values for debugging purposes with no luck yet. Any examples or help?
