Re: Triggering multiple samples sharing the same midi note

Sorry for the delay in response. I've been unusually busy the past few months. Steve is correct. With MIDI, there's a 1-to-1 mapping of bank/note numbers to track numbers. For more complex mapping, you'll need to use an Arduino to capture the incoming MIDI and the Tsunami Library to control the play...

Re: Tsunami Super Wav trigger issues

Sorry for the delayed response to this. I've been out of the country for the last month with very limited internet access. This certainly sounds like a bug, and one that I should be able to replicate. I recall that I did some work on fade times less than one audio buffer, which is around 3ms, and fi...

Re: MP3 trigger - no audio output

If the LED turns green, then the MP3 Trigger is playing a file. I suspect something is wrong in your audio output circuit. Have you tried plugging headphones into the audio output jack?

Re: Wav Trigger Programing

Sure. Have you looked at the Configurator app and checked out the Random trigger function? It takes a range of tracks. Just make sure your "continuous" track number is not included in that range.

Re: WAV Trigger Documentation Unclear PLEASE HELP

I have extremely limited internet access for the next 2 weeks and am typing on my phone, so I apologize for the brevity. By default, the triggers play the corresponding track numbers. Trigger 1 plays the filename starting with "001...". I suggest you go through the hookup guide to learn those basics...

Re: MP3trigger volume

Also, the hardware has changed since you purchased your original unit. Specifically, an option was added to provide a true line-level output circuit with DC blocking caps and a reference to the board GND, making it compatible with grounded external equipment with line-level inputs. This option is no...

Re: MP3trigger volume

I assume you're playing the same files on both the old and new unit, and that it's not just the level of your mp3 file... What do you mean when you say "I am sending max volume to the unit"? How and what are you sending?

Re: MP3 Trigger and long trigger wire interference??

There two versions of firmware for the Tsunami - stereo and mono. The Configurator app supports both versions. See the download page. The former plays stereo files which can be directed to any of the 4 stereo pairs. The mono version plays mono files which can be directed to any of the 8 mono outputs.

Re: MP3 Trigger and long trigger wire interference??

Possibly, but you have to be very careful with how you connect the shield - it can also become an antenna. But it really depends on how tolerant you are with occasional false triggers. You might eliminate most but not all. Again, that's a really long run for a 5V digital signal without debouncing on...

Re: MP3 Trigger and long trigger wire interference??

If your MP3 Trigger is that new then it already has the pull-up. I suggest trying triggers 17 and 18 - they'll definitely be better, but will still trigger on significant noise, and 70 ft of wire is a bit antenna. Both the WAV Trigger and Tsunami have input debouncing, whereas the MP3 Trigger just l...

Re: MP3 Trigger and long trigger wire interference??

How old is your MP3 Trigger? The latest version (with the solder jumpers SJ2, SJ3 and SJ4 in the analog output section) has a pull-up resistor on the output of the multiplexer to help with the long wire issue. If you have an older version, there are posts around describing how to add the pull-up. An...

Re: WAV Trigger - how to auto play and loop upon power up

Assuming that you meant "Need track 1 to loop forever", just do the following. Make sure you have the most recent firmware. Using the Configurator app... For Trigger 1, change the type to "Level" and check the "Invert" option. Add/Update the trigger settings. For Triggers 15 and 16, change the Funct...

Both attack and release are set using MIDI Controller messages. This is documented in the MIDI Implementation section of the User Guide.

Re: Tsunami Super WAV Trigger - Playing tracks on powerup

I'm guessing that perhaps you aren't running the latest firmware. See the release notes for version 1.04 on the download page; This issue was fixed for Tsunami. Grab the latest version, v1.08, and you should be good to go.
