Weird GPRMC sentences from Venus module

I am currently using a venus module with an arduino and everything seems to work normally, except from the fact that the module does not always transmit the "proper" full GPRMC sentence. After a while, or straight away from booting, it seems to start spamming a shorter version of the GPRMC missing a...

Uploading problem with Arduino

I think I have locked my arduino pro (3.3v) by accidentally making the sketch spam the serial port. I am now getting the following error while trying to upload a new one. Code: avrdude: stk500_paged_write(): (a) protocol error, expect=0x14, resp=0x00 avrdude: failed to write flash memory, rc=-4 avrd...

Phone on shipment papers

Please make sure that you add the receiver's phone number on the shipment stickers. Is this done manually?

My package has been stuck in customs for 4 days without me knowing why and finally I received a letter saying that there was no phone number on it.

Graphic serial backpack and 128x160 lcd

I m really having trouble understanding how this works... The backpack keeps scrolling the cursor erasing everything. Even when I manage to get something written on the serial, it appears a bit gibberish most of the times, and after a while it get erased by the scrolling cursor. Could you guys pleas...

Is there a way to put it on sleep mode? I want to make my project really energy conscious, so I just need to get an initial reading and then put it to sleep. I read through the datasheet and couldn t find anything relevant other than the vbat pin which is tied to V so no powering it up and down fast...

Pinout for CHK for the MAX1555 and USB-serial for charger

How about adding a PNP transistor or something to the CHK signal of the MAX1555 and then make it available as a pin on the board. That would allow the main device to know when the battery is charging, and keep itself on low power state. Do you think the CHK can directly sink the current provided by ...

Arduino pro 3.3v 16Mhz?

How about a pro 3.3v running @ 16Mhz?

I haven t been able to find one at the list.
Is there some hardware limitation for that?

JST to JST cable

How about a JST to JST cable?

It would be nice to connect the Arduino pro straight to this LiPoly Charger without any intermediate soldering of different one ended cables.

Accelerometer and compass with bigger resolution

I have found that for more demanding work, the current resolution of the compass and accelerometer modules is very low. Are there any plans to make the accelerometers available with a 14 or 16 bit resolution? Perhaps even use the 1-wire A/D converter from maxim to save I/O pins. Maxim's new 24bit A/...
