Hi guys I've just deployed a web app that i created to help me keep track of my inventory. I figured why not share it with others. So i've added the login function (so everyone who signed up has their own inventory, duh ;) check it out: http://inventory.railified.com/ note: after you signup, click o...

sorry if i was unclear for example, you have a footprint of a part that contains holes (like an SD card connector for instance). But once i create a ground plane, it pours way too far from the actual holes, much further than the clearance set in the ground plan properties. I cannot seem to find a wa...

question about copper fill around holes

by static ¦  Sun Feb 08, 2009 9:20 am ¦  Forum: PCB Design Questions ¦  Topic: question about copper fill around holes ¦  Replies: 3 ¦  Views: 971

Hi

I'd like to change the copper fill clearance radius around regular drill holes. By default it is too large in eagle and breaks my ground planes too much.

how do i go about changing this radius, i've clicked around ground plane options but couldn't find

Thanks
Alex

Not sure why stm32 are not as popular here i tried atmel's ARM7 (sam7) and IMO STM32 is much more convenient and faster to boot. In general i like Cortexm3 much better than the old arm7 the other micro i use is Parallax Propeller and it's awesome, but for different kinds of projects than STM32 (i.e ...

two quick questions on Eagle

by static ¦  Mon Dec 01, 2008 7:08 pm ¦  Forum: PCB Design Questions ¦  Topic: two quick questions on Eagle ¦  Replies: 4 ¦  Views: 1455

Hi 1. How can i copy a part from schematic in one file to another different schematic file? Same for .brd files - i.e a part of board layout - is it possible in eagle? 2. I see one can export a list of all parts used in schematic, but is it possible to have something like: resistor 1k x5 resistor 5k...

Unfortunately I don't think you will be very successful in implementing this. Besides looking at SPL you have to realize one important thing - to achieve the same SPL in lower frequencies, you'll need MORE energy than you would have needed to achieve same SPL in higher frequency. This is one Two: in...

It is exactly what i'm looking for .
However, board cost about 9$ and shipping cost ~ 75 $ for France !
Is there a cheaper place to order ?
yes

yes, latest codesourcery binaries (you don't have to build everything) work good for stm32 under cygwin as well as under ubuntu.

examples of environment/makefiles/project can be found by looking for name 'lanchon' (who has kindly shared his gcc based examples with community)

anyone has problems with LIS3LV02 data output? continuity

Hi I've been working on a prototype, where a MCU gathers the accel data from the LIS3LV02DL (i use the DL version, not DQ) and sends x,y and z (both high and low bytes) as a simple bytestream over a serial port. The host PC collects the data and uses it to control a visual representation (modifies t...

see the "Update" part here: http://www.nearfuturelaboratory.com/2006/09/22/arduino-and-the-lis3lv02dq-triple-axis-accelerometer/ it may be related to problem you're having edit: here is another thread dealing with seemingly the same issue: (or symptom anyway) http://forum.sparkfun.com/viewtopic.php?...

for prototyping, i found it very handy to fabricate a small DIP module as followings: - get a small piece of proto pcb (with grid of holes) that can contain the QFN package and the header connectors comfortably (i used x2 8pin single headers for the accelerator chip i did) - glue the QFN chip upside...

ok, i think i found my problem i tried main.bin that i've compiled under windows (using codesourcery toolchain for windows under cygwin) and it works (and doesn't report "empty section 0") I am thinking something is wrong with the .ld files, or somehow the linux version of codesourcery doesn't creat...
