It has a smoke absorber built in on the soldering iron right above the tip. It absorbs most of the smoke.

Finding a connector is the least of your problems. Its very easy to desolder it with hotair anyway.
The problem is to find out what controller does the display have or else its useless.

So you are a noob and you complain that you don't understand stuff and that's somehow sparkfun's fault. Maybe you should research more before trying to interface a cam module that wasn't built for noobs.

Works fine here ,images are automatically resized to fit the window width. Your probably use a crappy browser. Get opera or firefox.

I dont think you'll be sued, its not like they patented it? But just in case hold small quantities of final boards if something goes wrong you wont lose much.
