How should I go about connecting the PSP LCD to a motherboard? DVI, VGA, etc. etc... Obviously something I would need some sort of a controller card for, I suppose. What's the smallest solution?

Hi Nama.

I don't think you'll have much luck finding something that bridges directly from VGA/DVI to the PSP LCD.

One solution (and I've done this before with this as a PC monitoring screen) is to use our PC COG (http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/produc ... ts_id=8511) which works with the PSP LCD and provides touchscreen support and VCMX212 (http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/produc ... ts_id=8413) which itself is TINY linux computer. This allows you to control whats drawn on the screen over a simple USB interface. Probably can't beat the size either for the VCMX212 (50x44mm) and easily fit within your computer case...

You could figure out how VGA/DVI works and then have a device which reads the VGA/DVI port and converts it to PSP LCD data that is sent to the LCD using a i.MX21 or FPGA or some other powerful device.

Is the PSP LCD some sort of special config? Is there any other LCDs of a similar size that would be easier to do this with?
